I was born and raised in California and grew up playing both recreational and competitive soccer in Escondido, competing for teams including the Poway Vaqueros, RB Hornets, and Escondido Earthquakes. I also played high school football at Orange Glen High School. My passion for the game has been a lifelong part of who I am.
My coaching journey began in 2010 when my oldest daughter asked me to coach her soccer team. What started as an opportunity to support her quickly grew into a passion, and I have been coaching recreational and competitive soccer ever since.
As a US Soccer D Licensed coach with Grassroots certifications in 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11, I believe in a possession-based style of play that emphasizes technical excellence, teamwork, and tactical awareness. I want every player to understand their role on the field, adapt to different formations and opponents, and develop confidence through consistent technical training and intelligent decision-making.
As a husband and father of three daughters, I understand the importance of creating a positive environment where players can grow both on and off the field. My goal is to prepare every athlete for the next level by helping them build the technical skills, tactical understanding, and confidence they need to succeed in high school soccer and beyond.
