While coaching is a newer chapter in my soccer journey, the game has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing competitive soccer at a high level and had the opportunity to train under some outstanding coaches at San Diego Surf Del Mar. I also competed in high school and participated in the Cal South Olympic Development Program (ODP). Today, I am excited to share that experience and passion with the next generation of players.
My coaching philosophy is centered on developing confident, resilient, and competitive players who genuinely love the game. I emphasize playing with intensity, building out of the back, developing a strong first touch, and encouraging players to be creative and make their own decisions on the field. At this age, I believe developing strong technical fundamentals and a passion for soccer creates the foundation players need for future success.
Most importantly, I want to create a team culture built on trust, hard work, and a shared passion for the game. I want every player to feel confident being themselves, understand that mistakes are an important part of learning, and feel comfortable challenging themselves and their teammates to improve. My goal is to help each player grow while making sure their love for soccer continues to grow with them.
