I am the Assistant Director of Coaching, President of Escondido Soccer Club, and Head Coach of the GU19 Blue and GU17 Blue teams. I began my coaching journey with Escondido Soccer Club in 2010 and later transitioned into competitive coaching with FC Heat before continuing with SDSC Surf Escondido.
As a US Soccer C Licensed coach, I believe soccer is about far more than developing skilled players, it’s about developing confident, resilient young people. My goal is to create a positive environment where every player is encouraged to work hard, embrace challenges, and reach their full potential. No matter a player’s current skill level, I believe that consistent effort, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude will always lead to growth.
I also believe the lessons learned on the soccer field extend far beyond the game. Through teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and accountability, players develop qualities that will help them succeed throughout their lives. My hope is to make a lasting, positive impact not only on the players I coach, but also on their families and our Escondido community. By helping young athletes become better players and better people, we can create a positive influence that reaches well beyond the field.
